Cheesy Potato Kugel

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
My husband and I really liked this. I used dehydrated onions, I was out of the fresh, and I added some garlic powder and dried parsley. I baked in a 13X9 in. pan. Very tasty. This is a keeper.

Carnation® Raisin Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2001
This was real good. I used a loaf of homemade cinnamon raisin bread I made in my breadmaker that was a few days old. I cut the bread into cubes and added 2 cubed, red delicious apples. I baked an additional 10 minutes. This turned out good and smelled good cooking.

Creamy Slow Cooker Potato Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2001
I minced the onion in my food processor and added a green bell pepper and lots of garlic, minced also. I did not use the celery. This was soooo good. I will make again and again. Real comfort food.

I made these last night and they were delicious. I used frozen green beans and cooked them according to the package label in the microwave. My husband even liked them and he is very picky. I will be making this again and again.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2002
This is so good. I now know what I'm bringing to my job for the annual meeting. I used italian cheese blend, since I didn't have cheddar. I added garlic powder and sliced up some smoked sausage. I did half the amount of butter. This will be good with some fried eggs in the morning. Thanks for this great recipe.

Garlic Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2002
This was very good. I didn't have the dill, so I substitued italian spices and I used lemon juice instead of the slices. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I will be making this again.

Grandma's Famous Salmon Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2002
I used fresh salmon, one egg and added the 1/4 cup of flour as suggested by another user. I also added some chopped garlic and dried parsley. I mixed in my food processor. I was not able to shape individual patties and ended up cooking one big one. I don't think I'll use the food processor next time. Very tasty.

Garlic and Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
This is the only way I will ever make hamburgers or meatballs again. I had leftover meat and made Italian meatsauce. This is very good. I let mine marinate overnight.

Grilled Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
I used breast strips and marinated for several hours in a double batch of the marinade. I did add 1/2 a small can of chicken broth to the mixture to thin it out as other readers suggested. Instead of grilling, I pan fryed the strips until almost done (in a dry pan) and placed them in an oil sprayed baking dish when finished. I brought the remaining marinade plus the remaining can of chicken broth to a boil and added 2 handfuls of frozen green peas and 1 red bell pepper chopped (from a jar) into the marinade. I topped the chicken strips with 2 cups of cooked bow pasta and poured the heated marinade mixture over the pasta. Covered with foil and baked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Delicious. Even better the next day for lunch.

Super easy and delicious. I used the feta with garlic and added some white wine before baking, as was suggested by another, and a few grape tomatoes.

Pizza Pinwheels

Messy, my seams were not good, but very tasty and easy. Seasoned my dough first with garlic powder and oregano covered by a light spoon of the tomato sauce.

I followed the directions exactly like noted. I used a 3 pound rib roast. I did add 2 cans of beef broth, a head of garlic (skin on, sliced in half) and 1 onion (halfed) to my roasting pan. Made delicious au jus. Thanks for a great meal. My husband said it was the best!

Bebop Baked Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
Took to a Thanksgiving potluck at work and they were very good. I will add more brown sugar when I make again. I like my beans a bit sweeter. I cooked mine in the crockpot on low for 4 hours instead of baking. Very good recipe otherwise.

Ham and Swiss Stromboli

I used ham, munster and swiss cheese, bacon, shallots and marinated peppers. I spinkled some garlic powder on the dough before topping and I spinkled, salt, pepper and paprika on the rolled loaf before baking. Wonderful!

Husband loved this soup. Only used half the brown sugar. Did not add the cayenne since he does not like hot things. I cooked all day in the crock pot on low (10 hours).

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
This was delicious. I did add salt, pepper and about 2 cloves of garlic. I used a can of condensed cheddar cheese soup and a can of cream of onion soup instead of mushroom to give it more flavor. I left out the mushrooms and used whole wheat rotini instead of egg noodles. I didn't have any chips so I used french fried onion rings for the topping. Will be making this again and again. Thank you!
