Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
I made this for Thanksgiving, used canned sweet potatoes with syrup and all other ingredients...No one in my family cares for sweet potatoes so of course everyone frowned when i put this dish out...It was fantabulous!! It was gone, I wish I wouldve made more, I was so proud of this recipe!! Thanks Stephanie!

Best Ever Chuck Wagon Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
I made this Sunday for football, and it came out great, although, I added too much salt and wasnt sure how to fix this!! I ended up adding a can of rotel diced tomatoes with green chili, I figured this would also accomodate for the missing habanero pepper...After my salt disaster, this meal was great, oh yeah and GONE by the end of the game! Thank you!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
I made this the night before Thanksgiving and turned out wonderful...Of course I followed the advice of others and used my chicken broth sparingly. I also used homemade cornbread rather than bread crumbs and added 1lb of sage sausage. I didnt need to cook it for as long as required either, not sure if it was b/c of the cornbread or not. It was fantastic everyone loved it and I was able to bake pies at the same time this was cooking...OH, I put it in the fridge overnight and then back on the slow cooker in the morning very low very warming. Fabulous...

Pecan Pie VII

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
I was excited about trying a new pecan pie for my brother who loves them, i was making one especially for him on Thanksgiving...I followed this recipe exactly and it just didnt come out right at all...The taste was okay, but it was very mushy and it could not be cut into slices at all...I'm not sure if i did something wrong. Thankfully, my brother said dont worry, it will get eaten, but dont ever try a new recipe again if your old one is fine :( I think I'll try this again just for own sanity!!!
