Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions

I was very happy with how this came out. It will need a little bit of tweaking to fit my tastes, but the result was very close to what I expected, so the tweaking will just be the personalization that all recipes need a little of.

Sadie's Longboy Cheeseburgers

A pretty decent recipe... I used the suggestion of another reviewer and added an egg into the meat mix, and was pretty satisfied. That said, next time I'm going to try adding in some minced garlic and perhaps some more Worcestershire sauce. Worth trying, but expect to add your own tweaks to perfect it.

Granola Bars III

Wonderful! These came out as EXACTLY what I was expecting from a Granola Bar. My young daughter loves these, and goes for them over commercial ones, which is always a sign of a good recipe in MY book. Can't recommend this one enough.

Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit

Oh, MY! This was absolutely DELIGHTFUL! I had accidentally run out of red wine vinegar, so used a raspberry vinegar instead... it was wonderful. I used oranges, and when you took a bite with bits of each the explosion of flavor in your mouth was pure extasy.

Caramelized Red Bell Peppers and Onions

Not shabby at all... wouldn't recommend if you have any onion or pepper haters in your household, for obvious reasons. Also, store or dispose of leftovers quickly, the smell is quite strong the second day.

Coconut Carrots

Overall, it tasted OK... but it was hard to taste the difference between it and normal carrots. I'd recommend this recipe, though - and use baby carrots!

Coconut Rice

This tasted pretty good and went over well with the family. It almost burned, so unlike most rice recipes it could probably do with some stirring in the middle. This should probably be expected with the coconut milk, I guess. Not too sweet, and VERY filling.

Best Ever Pie Crust

This is DEFINATELY the best pie crust I've ever made... of course, it was also my first. But that doesn't matter, it was flakey and delicious. I must agree with some of the other reviewers, about half the water called for was perfect.

Sesame-Almond Macaroons

This recipe is pretty quick and easy, and adds some much-needed additional taste to the traditional almond macaroons. I think I'm going to try adding toasted sesame seeds to a coconut macaroon recipe next time!
