Chocolate Tres Leches Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
I really enjoyed this. In the future I would add a bit less of the liquid to soak into the cake, otherwise, wonderful. The icing is amazing.

Schwabischer Kartoffelsalat (German Potato Salad - Schwabisch Style)

It just wasn't what I was looking for and wasn't received well with those I served it to.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
This one drew rave reviews at Thanksgiving and I had a couple people ask for the recipe. Prepped the night before and tossed in the oven before serving. The middle didn't cook up well with the allotted time and temp, but I gave it an extra 10 with broil at 350 and that firmed it up. Thank you for this. Loved it and will make it again, and again, and again...

Kale with Pine Nuts and Shredded Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Probably my fault, but I used too much butter and they were pretty much gross. I'm going to try a different kale recipe.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Prepped it the night before. My wife got mad because she saw the bouillon cubes in the potatoes as they were boiling and thought I was going to ruin one of the things she loves about Thanksgiving. I would recommend putting them on longer in the slow cooker in the morning at the low temp. I cranked it up to high for the last hour and they were warm, but not toasty war. I had no problem with moisture either. The taste was amazing! Definitely make these again.

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Very easy and very tasty. I made this for Thanksgiving and prepped it in the morning after starting the turkey. It went in the oven just before lunch was served and ready to roll with ice cream or whipped cream by dessert time.

Chicken Korma II

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
I loved this! My wife liked the chicken only and my daughter didn't like it, but this recipe tasted exactly like a chicken we had at a local Indian restaurant and that makes me VERY HAPPY!

Moong Dal

I used the wrong split peas and it was much more "Earthy" flavored than what I would have liked. Fun to make though. Love the fresh ginger!

Mango Lassi II

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
My family has had mango lassi from a couple of different places and this one didn't quite match the flavor, so I'll still be searching for what our expectation is. I enjoyed the drink and it was easy to make.

When this is still warm I'm not the biggest fan, but let it cool overnight in the fridge! WOWSER! This stuff rocks!

Indian Carrots, Peas and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
This was a pretty good dish for our family. I enjoy Indian food and my wife and daughter are much more picky. It was easy to make and tasted well--as noted in other reviews, take the time to cook the potatoes all the way through. It was a bit longer than what the recipe called for, but my potato cuts might have been a bit larger than suggested.
