Crispy Oven-Fried Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
Very good! I used Halibut, and cut it into fish sticks, since I have 3 young kids. I was hesitant if they would eat it (twin 1.5 yo, and 4 yo), and they ate it right up, no problem! Such a healthier replacement to the frozen fish sticks! I used a ranch crouton (make sure you crush it very finely) - choose whatever you want, that is what will give the fish flavor! SO good, will make again - easy too! Thanks!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
My whole family loved this - 2 & 4 year old kids and all! They all cringed at the spinach - but still loved it. I made a half batch, and It was gone so fast - even leftovers that we had, were gone the next day and it was just as good reheated! I did use chopped chicken that i already had leftover from a whole chicken I had roasted, this made the prep very fast! Definite keeper!

Jim's Cheddar Onion Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2011
Amazing! This turned out SO good. I too used "green onion" (scallions), because we love these, and this turned out really good. I followed recipe exactly, but for some reason my dough was really dry, and wouldn't "stick" I had to add about 1/4C more of buttermilk - but I could have added too much flour, so that was my fault. Came out perfect anyways! Love it Thanks!

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
I made this recipe exactly as written - and they were VERY good! The process of cooking these, is just fabulous, and the chicken fell right off the bone. With that being said, I was looking for a more GARLIC honey tasting wing (trying to replicate some from a restaurant), and these were mainly just honey flavored, so next time I will lesson the honey, up the garlic, and maybe add some red pepper flakes (or hot sauce). But these were so good, my husband and I ate them all, and even my 1.5 year old twins ate some (of the chicken not the bone part)! I suggest you make them - then decide how you want to alter the seasonings for your own liking! Also, when baking these, they can be messy! When it said to bake them on a "rack" at the end, I put a metal cookie rack ON an aluminum foil covered cookie sheet, and baked them that way, no mess to clean up, and they came out SO crispy and amazing. WILL make these again and again. Thank you!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This was good! We did use Buffalo Wing sauce, and it came out just as we expected. This would probably be good as a dip, to maybe dip with celery sticks!

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
We LOVE these! Only thing we do different is we add a can of Enchilada sauce to the filling, and also we like to top it with Enchilada sauce. Very good!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Very good - a different kind of mac and cheese. Its totally different if you don't add the crumb topping. I like it, but my kids prefer not to have that on top. We all like it - goes quick in our house!

Leftover Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This was very good for Thanksgiving leftovers. I did not use any soup though. I used my leftover Green Bean Casserole on the bottom, covered it with Turkey, covered that with gravy, then topped it with leftover stuffing - and it came out Wonderful! I mean, just mixing together all my leftovers, but it was quite good, and now in one tupperware. 4 Stars because I did not use the soup...I think one can would be enough though.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
This was exactly what I was looking for! I used 3 large apples (which was more then 3 cups). I used a bit more butter (extra few tablespoons) because it needed more to soak up all the dry ingredients. I also put the apples in a separate bowl, and combined the white sugar and cinnamon, and tossed it, so the apples were evenly coated. I did use a small glass square dish, and it was SO good. Cooked for 40 minutes. OMG, I could eat the whole thing myself. My husband and kids all loved it too (1 year old and 3 year old)! Will make this again and again!
