Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2015
As always, I read the least positive reviews for this recipe. I decided to make the recipe pretty much as it is, but added some broccoli and mushrooms. It came out great and my family loved it. Not to mention it's much healthier than other recipes where are you use a buttery crust. Some people out there must be a really poor cooks to not make this recipe good.

Ginger Pear Cranberry Sauce

I tired this recipe exactly how it's written. I even watched the video. Something just didn't taste right about.....maybe the garam masala.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2013
I will start by saying that I made both this recipe and the Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread recipe. Both highly rated and both lived up the hype. I did add raisins to both as it seemed traditionally correct, having said that I'm no expert on Irish Soda Bread tradition. I followed the recipes as listed with one exception. I baked on a tad bit lower heat and baked for a tad bit longer. Not sure what some posters meant when they said it didn't turn out good. I'm no baker, but these 2 recipes have to be as easy as it gets. Gave them both 4 stars as they both came out great.

Bacon Water Chestnut Wraps

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
Great recipe. I made a couple small changes. I used 3 cans of water chestnuts per 1 package of bacon. I also uses a tad more chili sauce and a dash of cayenne pepper in the sauce. I took other reviewers advice and pre-cooked the bacon to get a slight crisp. I also let the sauce sit in the fridge for a couple hours to let the flavors steep.
