About this Cook
i'm 24 and i live in pennsylvania, near reading. i love cooking, interior design, web design, and art in general. i have a cat, baby! even though i like to cook/bake anything, i eat a LOT of chinese and oriental food, and i'm known for living off of it!
My favorite things to cook
i love veggies and tofu, but i'm definitely not vegetarian. cold salads (broccoli, tuna, pasta, etc) are great to do in the summer. i like baking cakes and desserts more than i like cooking actual meals, because i think you can be a lot more creative, especially with designing cakes. i do still love cooking anything, though!
My cooking triumphs
winning first prize in local fairs every time, except once, when i got second! my bunny cake on easter. my broccoli salad that everyone loves! the chocolate cake that my neighbor is constantly on my to make another one.
My cooking tragedies
mixing a bit of general tso's sauce in with a steak. way to ruin a $10 piece of meat.

Broccoli Salad IV
this is my favorite version of broccoli salad! it tastes almost exactly like the one i pay $6 a pound for at the grocery store's salad bar. i made a few small changes, only per taste: i added a few squirts of lemon juice to the dressing, i left out the sunflower seeds and raisins, and used freshly cooked bacon. also, i added shredded carrots to mine!

Fudgy Brownies I
i added peanut butter chips to mine, and some caramel bits. also, i used half brown sugar and half white. the brownies could be a little more chocolatey, but i think this is an amazing recipe for using no butter.
