Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms
These mushrooms are yummy but I find that 12 mushrooms aren't enough for the stuffing that the recipe yields - I had a lot of cream cheese stuffing left over that I used in mashed potatoes instead. Made the mashed potatoes even better! If a no go for the mashed potatoes, simply get another package of mushrooms to stuff. My sister and hubby sure liked 'em.

Chicken Marsala
This is so yummy! Perfect for when I get a craving. I'm giving this 5 stars although I altered the recipe a little - just added more butter than was called for but definitely less than a stick of butter. My mom first cooked this recipe and my family and I loved it then. I decided to try this out on my own and my hubby and baby loved it. I paired it with Garofalo Cannolichi Rigati boiled in chicken broth and oregano. It was just delish. This is definitely a repeat.

Toscana Soup
I used one 5 pack of Johnsonville's mild Italian sausage links and used chicken bouillon instead of chicken soup base. I definitely kept adding more than the mentioned 2 tablespoons to add more flavor. If I had more time I might have made chicken broth from chicken bones for more flavor but the chicken bouillon worked just fine. Didn't have cornstarch on hand so I used flour instead (mixing it in hot water before adding it to the broth). I like my soup with more potatoes so I added 3-4 more. Be sure to add the kale just a minute or two before serving so it won't overcook (and turn into a not so nice shade of green). Served this as part of Thanksgiving dinner with my family and they loved it. Be careful not to add too much salt because the once the sausages sit in the soup it might get too salty.
