Modern Pasta e Fagioli

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2014
Take it easy there Jim. No one is crazy. A good cook knows not to utilize full sodium broths with other canned items for fear of salt overload. Be conscientious of your ingredients, using fresh vs processed. It should also be mentioned that most restaurant soups tip the sodium scale in a bad way.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
I am not a fan of bouillon cubes. I subbed a small amount of no sodium broth mixed with maybe a tablespoon of packaged beef gravy for 2 medium thickness bone-in pork chops. I added a small onion and sliced garlic to the gravy. Simmered on LOW for the 45 minutes produced a tasty, moist chop. I also use a quality butcher meat- You get what you pay for when it comes to meat!! That's a fact jack!!!

I baked this recipe for the first time a couple years ago and has since become my sons most requested cookie. No changes to the recipe required as far as I'm concerned.

Orange, Walnut, Gorgonzola and Mixed Greens Salad with Fresh Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
After reading the reviews, of course, I decided to add about 1/2 teaspoon of orange rind to the dressing, for extra orange flavor. Instead of juicing the oranges, I simply peeled and sectioned the orange and threw it in a blender to make the 2/3 cup needed. A thicker dressing in the outcome. My family and I sure enjoyed this salad recipe! Thanks faithful96!

Mini Pizzas

Great lunch idea. The title of the recipe kind of throws you. More like a loose meat cheeseburger than pizza. I added chopped mushrooms with the onions for sautéing, along with a little kick of cayenne. Thanks DeniseOO

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

My elderly mother and I made this fabulous dessert twice so far. Every person in my family and extended family thought that this was the best cheesecake they had ever tasted. Fairly easy to make. Did not feel I needed to alter the recipe. Thank you Dawn for sharing!
