My great grandfather was a chef and I was just given his own personal cookbook. I've decided to cook every recipe in it.
My cooking triumphs
Blood sausage comes to mind. I am presently making dried salami which is exciting since no one in my large family of butchers has ever attempted it.
My cooking tragedies
My dad got drunk and tried to help me but only succeeded in foiling my plans to make beef wellington out of a full rib. I was left with a beautiful rib roast but it was heartbreaking for a few minutes.
