Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2012
Delicious! My family loved it and I didn't change anything except adding less water as others suggested. I also only had whole wheat flour, I don't suggest using that. Mine had a slightly wheaty flavor that I didn't like but no one else seemed to notice.

Super moist and delicious!! And I cut this in half to just make one loaf and now wish I'd made two! I only used 1/2 the amount of oil and it was still super moist! Will for sure make this again!! Thank you for sharing this!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
I was a bit nervous to try making stuffing but was tired of the mushy stuff you make from a box. I was SO hapy I tried this! I will NEVER buy boxed stuffing again. I used a Turkey Sausage and put in a few extra cranberries because I love those but otherwise followed this to a T. Delish!!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
Need an amazing cream cheese frosting recipe? This is it...oh my heavenly goodness. I made this for a spice cake and shamelessly cleaned out the bowl with a spoon when I was done frosting it. SO easy and SO good...I will never get store bought again.

Nanny's Spaghetti Sauce

Super yummy and easy to make...and it tastes better, I think, the next day! Will probably make this vs buying store bought from now on. Could easily add all sorts of meats/vegies if you wanted.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
They were good but not THAT good. I don't know that I would go out of my way to make these again as they didn't stand out to me that much but still good.

Simple Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Too much Spinach and not enough cheese. And it made way too much sauce. It did have decent flavor but a bit too heavy on the spinach. Lots left over and it didn't get reheated which tells me my family didn't care for it very much. Maybe with half the amount of spinach and more cheese it would be better.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
SO delicous!! I cut it down to just 2 chicken breasts for my husband and I and wished I'd made more for leftovers. Used Original Sweet Baby Rays and put on fresh potato dinner rolls. I will FOR SURE make this again. Super easy and wonderful flavor.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Good flavor. A little thin. I cooked this in the crockpot for the day. Did the milk/flour/butter portion seperate and then added to the crockpot with all other ingredients. I am not sure if doing this in the crockpot made it thinner. I added some instant mashed potatoes in the end to thicken it up, which I don't like to do but we were using bread bowls. I would make this again, maybe not with the crockpot. And be sure to add the cheese to the top! :-) Yummy.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* White Chocolate Cranberry Crisp Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
So sweet and delicious! I did make the mistake of covering and putting them in the fridge...so they were a bit hard but the flavor was so good! Will for sure make them again. Very easy to make and they look pretty too. :-) If you don't like things that are really sweet you may not like these.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
SO good! Everyone in the house enjoyed it...even my daughter who is very hard to please. :-) I put it in the slow cooker and then added the noodles about 1 hour before serving. Great flavor! Will for sure make this again.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
So yummy! Didn't really change anything other than I did add an extra can of black beans. With the 1 pound of meat it just seemed overly meaty...the extra can of beans made it more balances. We put this in the slow cooker for the day. It was even better the next day! I think this would be really good with shredded chicken breast as well.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
My family really enjoyed these, even my daughter that doesn't like vegies at all. One thing we did was add italian cheese blend to the top the last few minutes of cooking. It really was yummy...we decided next time we would add cheese into the mix before baking and then again on the top. Just added that extra yum factor. :-)

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I loved the texture of this cornbread and it wasn't too sweet. I decreased the oil by half and it was still very moist. Very easy to make as well. I will definitely make this again.

McCormick® Gingerbread Men Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
These are absolutely DELICIOUS!! I made the dough and stuck it in the freezer since I knew I wouldn't get to make the cookies for a few days. And I made them exactly like the recipe called for only not using McCormick. I found the dough easy to work with. Rolled it out with wax paper or just flour. The flavor is amazing...they are not too spicy. Just right in my oppinion. This will be my go to recipe for Gingerbread cookies for now on.

Oranged Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
Super flavorful, will definitely try and make again. Mine did not set up though. I think I maybe added too much water? I don't know. My first time making something like this. I had to strain it to remove some of the liquid. Still enjoyed it very much though and used the left over juice I strained off to heat and serve over waffles the next morning so it worked out great. :)

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
So yummy. I made it just as it was directed and it came out so moist and flavorful...but not overpowering. I think you could cut down on the oil a bit and still have it turn out great. I poured cream cheese frosting over the top and sprinkled with the orange sprinkles to make it look just like the picture. Everyone was impressed. :-) Would for sure make again.
