Goldbrick Sundae Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
We do love this sundae sauce! We had a banana split party and this was a huge hit... my husband wants to eat it out of the jar!! It does sort of harden a bit on your ice cream... it is amazing!!

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Cooked it in the CrockPot... used stout beer instead of water... gave it a robust flavor! Would do it again!! Remember to cut your corned beef against the grain... you'll know the difference if it is stringy, then you are cutting it wrong.

Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
I am so in love with this dish! I prepare these for St. Patty's Day every year. I do not boil my cabbage!! I chop bacon and fry it crispy then saute the chopped/shredded cabbage in the grease, with s&p till golden brown. I add the bacon to my colcannon... OH MY! Sometimes I put my finished product under a broiler to let the tops of the potatoes get toasty. Then I made a well in the center of each persons serving and filled it with a spoonful of melted herb butter.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2009
Rich, Creamy, Spreadable and Easy!! This is the only cream cheese frosting recipe I found with this much cream cheese in it... wouldn't want any other way! Very versatile, can be used on many types of cakes. Restaurant quality IMHO. It's a keeper!

Fresh Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2008
Love Em! They are so FAST & EASY! They are also flexible; you can add & take away ingredients and jazz them up. I use Hoisen Sauce or spicy chili sauce, add cilantro, and I use steamed shrimp... These are delicious!

Pumpkin Pie Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
I call these Pumpkin Pie Squares, they are not actually a bar cookie... They are so addicting I had to take them to church to share or I would have ate every last square myself! I could not stop myself! Everyone else had the same problem... I had a friend text me the next day to tell me she could not stop thinking about them... poor thing doesn't bake...lol. I will make these for every potluck I go to, just so I HAVE to share them!

Dutch Babies

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
Delisious and nice presentation, easy to prepare. I will definitely experiment with this one. I would rather use real potatoes, add salsa or tomatoes and top with cheese. I also measured real eggs and the puff came out beautifully. I put the batter into a single pie dish instead of tart pans. Next time I will time the eggs to be finished closer to the "puff". I will be making this again!!

Armadillo Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
OH MY... Delisious!! You must like spicy and we do!! We had them for the superbowl, leftovers were used as a side with our dinner, they reheat well. These are mostly big, eat them with a knife and fork and dip them in to some jalepeno ranch or other favorite. For extra spice, I used spicy sausage, Peper Jack Cheese and caned jalepenos in juice (less work). If the jalepenos are way to big cut them in half, this works great. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!!!!

Baked Pancakes with Sausages

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
Great Recipe! My family does love this one! We usually have this for dinner on breakfast night. So much easier than slaving over the stove fliping, while they are gone before the next pancake is ready. One dish pancakes with sausage links! One of my daughters will not eat sausage so I leave a section without sausage, so as not to even get the "essence" of sausage:) Thank you for a great recipe! Reheats well for the next mornings breakfast rush!

Doughnut Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2003
Great Recipe! Quick, Easy and Tasty! We do love these! I added vanilla to the batter. Great for on the go or for breakfast & brunch! We are having breakfast for diner tonight and these will go great with Baked Pancakes. These do remind me of snickerdoodles. Great Muffins, not cupcakes. Light but tasty!

Maple Syrup Casserole Made in Heaven

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2003
This is good only right out of the oven and you must spread cream cheese on every slice and I also added apricot jam to every slice. This is somewhat like a bread pudding. You have to like the semi mushy texture in the middle due to the egg mixture and bread. We liked it right out of the oven, the next day we did not like it at all. This meal makes alot of casserole! Too much for a hearty family of five. So Sorry..... We as a family of 5 did not like this one at all. We vote recipies as a family to bump it or dump it and this one was unanimous to dump it.

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Great Dish for a CROWD! This makes a huge roaster pan full of Jambalaya. Your guest will not be disapointed at all! Very easy to make and it cooks in the oven for less of a hassel. I will be doing this again for every potluck and family event I attend. Thank you!

Pasta with Peas and Sausage

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2002
Fast, Easy and Delisious! I made this in a pinch! I always have Italian Sausage in the Freezer and I always have Pasta on hand for those nights when I don't feel like "cooking". I was looking for something different to do with pasta and sausage and I found this, a nice white sauce. We use spicy sausage, we love the kick! Everyone, especially my husband, loved it. I love it especially because in 20 minutes, I have a complete meal. Add bread w/ butter and a salad if you like.

We do love this unique flavor! Something different but tasty is always welcome at the table. I gave this 5 stars all the way accross the board! My kids eat just about anything, no picky eaters allowed! So, my kids are rare but if it was really bad they would have said so. We give this thumbs up!!
