Slow Cooker Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2012
This was very good!! I read reviews and revised as follows: I added two fresh cloves of garlic, minced, about 1/2 tsp of lemon pepper, fresh pepper, and 1/3 cup red wine to the soup mixture. Then after pouring over the chicken I placed two bay leaves on top. This was surprisingly yummy, tender and juicy. Everyone loved it.

Pork Chop Pileups

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
I thought this was wonderful, and my family loved it. I had 4 huge chops which pretty much filled the 9 x 12 pan. I had to use 1 can mushroom and 1 can of cream of celery since that was all I had. I also browned the chops first before putting them in the baking pan. I baked mine 1 hr 20 min, testing with a thermometer since they were thick chops. When I took off the foil I covered the whole thing with french fried onions and slid it back in the oven for 5 more min. (Just like green bean casserole on top!!)

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
We really loved this recipe!! The only change I made was out of necessity - I did not have any balsamic vinegar, so I substituted balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The gravy was scrumptious and the chicken breasts were moist and tender. A great recipe!! I served them with crispy potato pancakes (recipe also on this site). Yum!

Tuna Casserole II

My family loved this recipe!! The only change I made was the soup - I didn't have any Cream of Mushroom, so I used one can of Cream of Chicken, and one can of Cream of Celery. Very good, thank you!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
the meatballs are delicious! I used ground chuck instead of ground beef (because it was cheaper) and kept the rest of the ingredients the same. Since I didn't make the sauce, I cooked them in the oven at 350 for about 25 minutes. I then used them to make meatballs subs, with a hoagie roll, Parmesan Ricotta pasta sauce, and provolone cheese. DELICIOUS!

Kielbasa and Veggies

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
This was an excellent recipe!! Of course I didn't have the listed ingredients at hand - no frozen mixed veggies, but I made do with what I had. I used some frozen broccoli, frozen peas, leftover lima beans, chopped fresh baby carrots, sliced roasted red peppers, and 4 unpeeled red potatoes. Sprayed the 9 x 12 pan with Pam olive oil, used no butter, and sprinkled seasoned salt, basil and fresh pepper. Topped with shredded fiesta cheese when it was done baking. Delicious!! Thanks Cat for the recipe!!
