My cooking triumphs
when my kids tell me they don't like to order an Italian dish in a restaurant because it usually isn't as good as mine. made baked stuffed filet of sole with freshly caught fluke...perfect first time I made steak au poivre...couldnt believe how easy it was
My cooking tragedies
made a cake from scratch for my daughters birthday... whipped cream frosting, check frosting for trim/icing, check decorations, check cake itself....hard enough to make a patio out of it. still don't know what I did wrong

Golden Pork Chops
I was searching for something aside from breading and frying my chops....great but tiring and a bit time consuming for a family of 6....found this recipe and it is absolutely fantastic...a bit heavy on the onion, next time I'll use a half but the prep was a snap and the results were quite satisfying....THANKS! golden mushroom soup will be a staple in my cupboard from now on

filling is fantastic. I changed it a tad though as I had only Marsala on hand...I use 2T marsala and 1 T instant coffee granules
