Chickpea and Eggplant Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
right off the bat, I thought it was suspect no flavored bouillon/broth was required, as this is a must for most soups. I did omit the salami to make this vegetarian. at first bite thought it was bland but then after a couple bites i liked the flavor, the chickpeas really add something to this. tastes even better the second day.

Parmesan Crusted Tilapia Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
wonderfulness! modern twist on "shake and bake." sooooo easy to make. rather have this then blow $25 on some fish dish downtown over a bed of something pretentious. followed recipe except used cilantro bc i needed to get rid of it and it seems to be tastier than parsley. also, nice usage of paprika. very under utilized condiment if you ask me. wait you didn't. but i told you anyway. go make this dish and woo that hot chick you have wanted to ask out. she'll be dazzled and wonder why those trendy places don't have this dish.

Sweet and Salty Toll House® Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
why isn't this the next big thing to hit bakeries? enough with the cutesy cupcakes. bring on the cookies that feature snack food ingredients. followed the recipe to the tee. have made several times. always fun to have people guess the magical ingredients and then say "really? why aren't these taking the place of overpriced, underwhelming cupcakes?" with this being said - next time I watch Shark Tank and see someone pleading Mr. Wonderful to invest for 10% ownership of their gourmet desserts that have snack food ingredients - please please send me some samples of your goodies and remember I do freelance package design.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

4,688 reviews and 5 stars? for reals. YES for reals. super deeeilsh bread. I took "the most helpful review" and followed this sage advice- half the oil with applesauce, increase zucc to 3 cups and reduce sugar to two cups (1 white sugar, 1 brown sugar). it will take all your self control to not eat the whole loaf.
