About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom to 4.5yr old triplets. I am always looking for things to make for dinner to keep it interesting and get my kids eating stuff besides chicken nuggets and hot dogs.
My favorite things to cook
casseroles, chicken, enchilada's, biscuits and gravy(homemade), pork chops with cream of mushroom soup, chicken and veggie casserole with ranch and sour cream.
My favorite family cooking traditions
one time a week making a homemade dessert with my kids...we love to bake!
My cooking triumphs
I've become an as my hubby tells everyone "AWESOME" gravy maker. Any kind of gravy and better than his moms!! :)
My cooking tragedies
my first attempt at homemade biscuits..OMG! HORRID!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy
My family absolutely LOVED this! My daughter, husband and sons kept raving about it through the entire meal. They even said "you could cook this every night for us and we would be happy people!" It was delish!

Chicken and Dumplings I
I made this recipe pretty much exactly as it was written. The only difference was I didn't have chicken bullion cubes so I added cream of chicken soup. Everything came out perfectly! This was my first attempt at real dumplings and they were YUMMY! Next time I will probably add a little veggies in it.

Pancakes I
Thanks awesome pancakes. I added vanilla flavoring and cinnamon. Now according to my kids "Mommy, your the best cooker EVER!" They were good fluffed right up. Although got a better color with 1/4 cup of batter instead of 1/3cup like I started using..better size pancake at first though i didn't think the 1/4 cup would be a big enough one..it's plenty big enough though.
