Margaritas to Die For
A lot of work for a so-so margarita. Strong, pulpy, and too limey, just not enough citrus favor for me.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
Good basic recipe but not spicy enough for me. Went with 1# ground beef, 1# hot sausage and added another tbs chili pepper, 1.5 tsp of salt, and 1 can beef broth. If you want it hot add 2 tsp diced jalapenos. Like mine a little smoother rather than chunky so I pureed 1/2 mixture for the texture I like. Everyone's different but I think the changes I made put it over the top.

The Best Bean and Ham Soup
Didn't follow to the letter but, wow, the best bean soup I've ever had. Since I'm on a diet I omitted the cubed ham (did use the ham bone) and used chicken bullion instead of vegetable & chicken broth, so it is very healthy, full of protein, low in fat. Excellent!
