I, like the other posters, made some additions (hence the reason for the 4 stars). I left out the onions and took the advice of others and used chicken broth instead of water. I used frozen chicken breasts, 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, and added a dash of garlic powder, 2 dashes of lemon juice, and some cracked black pepper. Additionally, I did not use canned biscuits. I made my own dumplings using 2 cups bisquick & 2/3 cups of soy milk, which I dropped in about 35 mins before the dish was to be finished (after shredding the chicken). It turned out AMAZING. It tasted just like I remember Cracker Barrel's tasting like. I will absolutely be making this again.
