About this Cook
I would say I am very comfortable in the kitchen.. My joy of cooking though comes not from the cooking process, but rather the reactions of the people eating what I've made. Not all of the recipes I make from this site are 4-5 star, but the few that haven't been, I wouldn't make again and just forget to rate them... Working on that though :)
My favorite things to cook
Well, that really depends on my mood.. I am not biased, but I am much more open to "complicated" recipes now that I have a gas stove (i feel more like a chef on foodnetwork!)... The determination is probably all in my head, but, hey it works..lol....
My cooking triumphs
Learning to grill a steak! My favorite thing to eat and you can plan any menu around it!
My cooking tragedies
When i was about 13 y/o, I tried to cook eggrolls. I had the grease preheating in a pot on the stove, forgot about it until the smoke alarms went off... Yep, huge grease fire in the kitchen...

Buffalo Chicken Fingers
I always marinate my chicken in a buttermilk/Franks hot sauce mixture overnight then pat dry before coating. Make sure to beat the egg white until foamy as this helps make an extra crispy coating. I use Panko instead of bread crumbs and used more seasoning than the recipe calls for. I place my coated chicken on rack over the cookie sheet and spray with chicken with olive oil from my misto just before baking. I bake at 450 for 12 min, flip and bake another 12 min!

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup
This makes a DELICIOUS broth! I do not use the lemon grass. I strain this broth repeatedly using a cheese cloth in my fine mesh strainer until it runs absolutely clear. I also use cheese tortellini in place of the egg noodles!

Won Ton Wrapper Appetizers
Easy appetizer that everybody seems to enjoy. I usually crushed red pepper and omit the olives.
