Very Very tastey! It took a while for me because i had to peel the shrimp, but the marinade itself was quick, easy, and oh so good! My whole family loved it!

Very good! I forgot the mayonaise and it was still very delicious. Especially for artichoke lovers.

Garlic Sauteed Artichokes

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2002
This is great if you really like garlic. I made it twice and the first time I used too much garlic. The second time I eased up a bit and I Really enjoyed it. I love that you cut the fuzzy stuff out of the middle before you sit down to eat! So much less maintainance!

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2002
I made this for the work potluck. Everyone loved it. I didn't bring enough! Vinegar nice contrast to strawberries. I only used half the spinach. BIG mistake. It made it a bit soggy in the end. Definately use 2 bunches.

Cucumber Sandwich

Totally yummy combination. Quick, easy, meatless combination! I love sprouts on any sandwich and the vinegar and oil made it nice and tangy!

Barlow's Blackened Catfish

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2002
This was way way too hot. I normally love really hot dishes, but it definately detracted from the overall taste (in fact, I couldnt taste for half an hour following the meal!). Definately tone down the pepper used. Or suffer the concequences.

Mom's Best Waffles

Really good. I added vanilla and nutmeg... be careful don't add too much. They are great. I made some extras and store them in the freezer. Great for quick breakfasts.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: May 11, 2004
Very tastey. Made A TON!! Could have easily halfed the cucumber sauce and still had more than enough. Cucumber sauce could double as veggie dip. The falafel took some toying with to figure out how to fry it without it falling apart... but don't give up, it's possible! You will want to lay it on a paper towel to drain some of the grease!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: May 11, 2004
We liked it with more sweet potato than the bean mix. I halved the bean mix and still had too much. It's a good idea to freeze. But remember to freeze before baking... not after.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 11, 2004
We loved the basic idea of this. We had our own pizza crust recipe though, so we had to figure out by trial and error how long to cook. But boy it's tastey!!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 11, 2004
This is the best pizza crust recipe I have EVER had. We now make our own pizza every Saturday in stead of ordering out... not only is it more affordable, but we actually prefer it! Mmm...

So very easy. Yummy. I got a ton of compliments. I think next time I want to maybe try adding more lemon juice to give it more flavor...? But still mmm....

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2004
I LOVE this recipe. I make it as often as I can get away with. I've found, that it's the very best when you marinate for a day or so. The chicken is saturated with the yummy honey flavor! We always put it with bell peppers and cherry tomatoes and mushrooms and onions. I think I'll go make it again... right now.

This marinade tasted... off. Maybe it was just because i didn't have access to lime...? I dunno. I think I'll keep looking.

Egg Roll Wrappers

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2004
These were fabulous. I bought rice paper instead of egg roll wrappers and thought I was doomed (I had already made the filling and everything!). Luckily my husband checked Allrecipes. This recipe saved my dinner. It didn't make enough, so I had to make another batch (even for just the 2 of us). But they are SO easy it wasn't a big deal.

Churros

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
This recipe is SO easy. They tasted just like the churros I remember. We are living in South Korea right now and don't have access to anything Mexican. Mmm... had to play with cooking temp a bit, and i'm sure that the center would have cooked better had we had access to a star tipped pastry bag, but we use the resources we have! This is definately a fun desert, and really, it's not as messy as people commented.
