About this Cook
I grew up with a big family, and while you would think that would make me an excellent cook, we had a small kitchen, so we weren't allowed to conjure there. So i had no experience whatsoever when I got married. I never had to cook anything but breakfast (eggs, pancakes, and bacon), frozen dinners, and pasta. lol Now that im a stay at home mom, I have lots of time to practice. Turns out Im pretty good at it. You never know until you try, right? :)
My favorite things to cook
Whatever i can! My husband and I made this homemade Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo off this website the other night, and it was so much fun! I love making my grandma's pork schnitzels, and those recipes where you can really play with the ingredients and make it your own. I love cooking onions and mushrooms, it never fails. They smell sooooo good.
My cooking triumphs
The chicken fettuccine alfredo we made when I first started cooking was the first homemade thing i have EVER made. And let me tell you, it was a-mazing. :)
My cooking tragedies
Stuffed bell peppers. I made them, and I don't know what happened, but they were tasteless. :/ And I used a lot of seasoning! Still wasn't enough I suppose. Dah well.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies
Made these last year, and they were a huge hit! Can't wait to make them again now that it's actually feeling like Fall.

Skillet Chili
Awesome chili recipe! I used closer to 2 lbs of beef, so I used heaping measurements for the seasonings, and I did not drain my chili beans. It got rave reviews, everyone wished there was more! Thank you

Chicken, Asparagus, and Mushroom Skillet
Quick, easy, and tasty. I needed to use up the asparagus and mushrooms I had. Changes I made (only because it's what I had on hand): I subbed the wine for chicken broth, and margarine for butter.
