Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
this is my staple cookie recipe. it makes an unbelievably good cookie! i add a 1/4 tsp of almond extract for extra goodness. sometimes i use chopped up snicker bars instead of chocolate chips - try it! be sure to use parchment paper for the snicker bar cookies, as the caramel will make a mess on a cookie sheet. enjoy!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
these biscuits are amazing!! especially with the butter and garlic topping.. i added an extra 1/2 tsp of salt to the butter topping. i read the reviews and did not handle the dough very much at all. as well, i chilled the butter and using a box grater, i grated the butter into the flour mix; makes cutting it in so much easier! enjoy!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
i completely followed the recipe, so i'm not sure why these didn't work for me; the dough was SO stiff - too much flour! perhaps because i'm in a dry climate... but these turned out more crusty than fluffy. won't make these again.

good basic recipe! i sliced the chicken breasts in half and stuffed cheese in the middle as well, then wrapped it all up, breaded the chicken and baked. very good!

excellent! instead of chocolate chips, i used a chopped up organic orange chocolate bar, and added a little bit of orange zest. unbelievably good! enjoy. =)

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
so good! i made minor changes: - i used red pepper havarti instead of monterey jack... and i stuffed the chicken breasts with the havarti before dunking them in the egg bath. - it's also important to sprinkle a little bit of salt on to the chicken breasts before the egg wash, this will help them hold their moisture. - also, i added some basil to the bread crumbs. with these changes, the recipe came out amazingly good! the chicken was juicy and tender. enjoy! =)

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
excellent snickerdoodles, just like ina made in Sweden. just be very careful not to over bake these, as they can quickly go very crispy.

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
So good - but WAY too much salt! I didn't read the reviews before making this, but wish I had. It is not necessary to include the extra salt, as the soup and cheese have enough salt to make this recipe perfect. Enjoy!

Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
excellent bread! i tried this once with half white flour and half whole wheat flour, and a second time with all whole wheat flour. it is better with half and half, the bread will rise better. also, i threw in whatever nuts and seeds i had in the pantry, making this a very tasty and healthy bread! enjoy!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
so simple! both simple to make and simple tasting. it is a forgiving dough, so don't worry too much... just give it lots of time to rise and you'll have a wonderful bread. i didn't put honey in this, i just put a little sugar in when proofing the yeast (1/3 cup). ENJOY!

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. i followed the directions for the falafels exactly, except, i rolled them in bread crumbs before cooking them, this gave them that extra outer crunch. also, i baked them instead of frying. i did not use any extra oil, simply used parchment paper in the oven for 20 - 25 mins at 400 (half way through, i flipped them over). you'll love these. enjoy!
