Slow Cooker Osso Buco

Fantastic. We're huge osso buco fans, and this is the most effortless method by far. The veal was beyond tender and perfectly seasoned without overpowering the veal. Don't forget to serve with gremolata: 2 Tbsp FRESH parsley, 1 Tbsp fresh grated lemon peel, 1 clove finely minced garlic. A side of polenta and a big glass of Sangiovese won't hurt either:)

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Super easy. Great to pair with chili! Sub a can of club soda if beer turns you off, but USE GOOD CRAFT BEER; makes all the difference.

Chocolate Pecan Pie III

SO SO good! I add a little bourbon (half a shot, and GOOD BOURBON like Gentleman's Jack) before the pecans, and I probably added about half a cup extra pecans. This also made 2 pies. If you try to shove all this in one pie crust be prepared to clean your oven. I have been told by my husband, my kids, and my in laws that this MUST be on the table every Christmas.

Sausage Casserole

Good for Christmas/ Thanksgiving morning. The recipe needed a few more eggs, and I added a little salt and a lot of pepper. I also sauteed the onions before adding them.

Chuck and Potato Bake

Typical. Veggies were great, but the meat needed a little more flavor and still can't get it as tender as my mean ol' mama's! I cooked on high in my slow cooker for 6 hours. I'll probably have to edit my review once I try it on low for 10 hours.
