Flax and Sunflower Seed Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2014
Made this for the first time today, and WOW is it yummy! I didn't have "bread flours" but used all purpose and wheat flours. When the bread machine signaled it was time to add the sunflower seeds, I was worried because the dough seemed SO sticky that it was having a hard time even moving the ball of dough around. I helped it along for a minute or so after I first put added the sunflower seeds, but eventually said "forget it" and decided to let it do its thing. It somehow worked out, and created a beautiful, rich loaf. This bread TOASTED is like heaven on earth. YUM! Will definitely make this over and over again.

Pumpkin Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
It was a nice alternative to the "typical" pasta dish, but I thought it was a little bland. My 13yo daughter didn't care for it. I might try it again for myself, but following the advice of another reviewer who started with a roux, and changed the spices up a bit to include cayenne. Thanks for sharing something different, though because variety is the spice of life!

Burly Burger

Yummy :) I sometimes like to vary this recipe with a slice of swiss cheese instead of american, and also add bacon on occasion. Keep up the great work, Chef_Danielson!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
DELICIOUS! I made this with fresh chicken breasts (not frozen), and sliced the breasts before cooking. I realized too late, that I was out of Worcestershire sauce (shucks!), so threw in a couple Tbsp of spicy brown mustard, and it was awesome! Cooked on High for 1.5 hours, then Low for another 3.5 hrs. Made sandwiches with just a little bit of mayo on some fluffy rolls. Everyone in my picky family gobbled it up. Thanks!

Apricot Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
These were PHENOMINAL! I have picky eaters, that don't like speckles on their food, so I had to skip the parsley, but this recipe was SO simple and such a nice change from the boring butter, salt & pepper. We ate these hot though, because I actually didn't notice it said to "serve cold or slightly warm". I thought hot was delicious!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This is THE #1 requested appetizer that people ask me to make either at my gatherings, or when I'm bringing something to theirs. It's PHENOMINAL. I always add the Panko bread crumbs other users have recommended and I definitely recommend oven baking over microwaving. SO SO SO delicious!! People just stand around the dip until it's gone!
