Banana Banana Bread
Once again........funny, but every once in a while a recipe comes along so highly rated and reveiwed that I have to try it. I try to ignore the nay-sayers who weren't altogether thrilled with the recipe and pass them off as people who probably don't like much of anything anyway{ouch..sorry!!}..... HOWEVER- I'm with the minority on this one. I made the recipe exactly as written, and yes, it was dense, it was easy, it even cooked well in a bundt pan. But that's where my thrill ended. There was nothing extrordinary about it, and unfortunately, my husband agreed. I WILL give this recipe another chance however, by using the cinnamon, vanilla, and possibly nutmeg that other reviewers have tried. Every recipe deserves a second chance, and I feel this one does have possibilities. It may taste better today {2nd day} than yesterday, and I will have to try it toasted as Shelley suggested.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge
This recipe never fails me. It makes a generous portion {13x9 pan}, and keeps EXTREMELY well. Not that it lasts that long at my house....I have found that I prefer the taste of this when I use non-generic peanut butter. It just seems to come out a bit more peanut-buttery. This recipe makes you look like a pro in the kitchen, so be sure to pass some of the fudge out as little gifts for co-workers, family and such. They'll be awed by your prowess! Thanks so much Janet.

Warm and Spicy Autumn Punch
WOW! I got rave reviews when I made this for a small church function this fall- it smelled SO good, and tasted equally as wonderfull. Not as 'heavy' as a traditional mulled cider, which was nice. I didn't do the orange/whole cloves thingy, but it didn't make the beverage lack for anything. We used a nice glass pitcher and had the two cinnamon sticks in it, which made the drink look very festive. I should've doubled the recipe, and when I make this for Thanksgiving, I'll do that and put it in a coffee carafe {you know, the kind you pump to get the coffee out?} or maybe a crock pot turned on low. What a wonderfull smell that would be in the house!!! THis recipe is easy and pretty inexpensive, which is SO nice--thanks for a good one!
