Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
These are ridiculously good. I wanted to replicate the cookies from subway and tried these with white chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips. These turned out a million times better than the ones at subway. Not only that, but they're so chocolatey I can't eat more than one or two at a time before my chocolate craving is satisfied for quite a while. I had to bake them for s few minutes extra, otherwise they'd be mushy in the middle, but that was no problem to adjust.

Coffee Jelly

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
This makes for a really easy and delicious snack. It sets up quicker if you fill it in two small bowls or glasses and set them in a bowl with ice in the bottom and then put it in the fridge. Mine set up in only 3 hours when I did that, and it might've even set up earlier - I just wouldn't know, 'cause I was out. I don't normally like coffee all that much, so I wanted to find something to do with my instant coffee. This is a great solution!

Easiest Focaccia Recipe

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
This is SO fantastic! I have made this several times now and it never fails to please me. I have made it incredibly thin and in incredibly thick and everything in between. Every time it bakes exactly how I want it. I usually soak Italian seasoning in the olive oil and put both herbs and oil on at the same time. I add different herbs on top, depending on my mood. Coarse sea salt works perfectly for this recipe, as well. I have been having the most trouble with making pizza dough lately, and seeing as this was easy to work with I decided to add some salt to the dough and try it as a pizza dough. It works PERFECTLY. Just set the oven to 450 instead of 475 and leave it in there for about 15 minutes.

Chinese Steamed Buns

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
These buns were perfectly fluffy and delicious. I didn't change anything in the recipe, but I paired the buns with some improvised chicken. I shredded chicken thighs and cooked them in hoisin sauce, where I added HBI garlic and soy sauce, then strained it. It was a delicious combination.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I loved this! The only thing I changed about this was adding a little less cottage cheese than the recipe says and adding garlic croutons instead of plain ones. I also added 1/2 cup instead of 1/4 cup of the crutons. Next time I plan on adding a little garlic powder to the mixture. It should give it a little extra kick.
