Cajun Seafood Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
This is similar to a dish I created, but different enough to have when we want something with a little different flavor. It was very tasty and easy to make.

Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
It never crossed my mind that I could make corn dogs at home...and I NEVER would have thought I could make them as good as carnivals and fast food places. Great recipe!! Sure to use again!

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
I thought it would be a good idea to cook the potatoes a little bit beforehand so they would be cooked all the way since so many people complained of them needing additional cooking time. Bad idea. They kinda turned to mush. But everything was so delicious. Since I had doubled the recipe, I used a cup of cream and also a can of coconut milk. The coconut milk is a MUST! Sooo good! Serve this over rice with some naan and you're good to go!

Japanese Zucchini and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
I loved this! It was easy to make and it turned out fantastic! Instead of 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, I did 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and a 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil..that way the sesame oil wasn't too overpowering. It didn't taste exactly like my favorite japanese place, but I sure didn't care! Yum yum!

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This was awesome!!! Upon a couple of reviews I added a 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper to the breading and broiled the scallops for a few minutes after the initial twenty. This is definitely going to be made again and again in my house!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I always have a rough time when it comes to breading things, but the eggplant looked awesome! I went with the recommendations of salting the eggplant for a half an hour before baking and then baking for ten minutes on each side. It was delicious!

Spicy Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and it tasted nice, but I couldn't help but add some garlic to it. I still wasn't completely satisfied, so after reading some reviews I added a little barbeque sauce. Awesome!!! Sooo good on our burgers and with our fries! My two-year old even liked dipping her nuggets into it!

Guy Approved Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
My husband loves meatloaf, so I wasn't really excited to try this recipe. I didn't tell him about the ingredients that give it such a good barbeque taste (one of his favorites), so it was funny to see his face light up when he took a bite!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
I deviated a little from this recipe by adding all the spices to bread crumbs. I marinated the chicken in the butter, garlic powder and lime juice. Then I dipped it into the spiced bread crumbs to make a nice, spicy breaded chicken. It turned out really well and my husband and I both enjoyed it. Its not my favorite recipe of all time, but I plan on using it again.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
This had too much soy sauce for my taste, but my husband at every little grain in his bowl. Next time I plan on cutting down on the soy sauce, which will probably make it taste perfect to me. The chicken was super yummy!!!

Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
This is sooo yummy!!! After making this, I'm never buying clam chowder from the store again. Even my husband (who hates clam chowder) savored every last drop in his bowl. My two-year-old even liked it! I highly recommend this recipe. It's perfect!
