Browned Brussels Sprouts with Orange and Walnuts

I guess I did something wrong making this. The sprouts never seemed to finish cooking and I doubled the time to try and get them to soften up. The flavor wasn't that great so I added more orange, fresh dill, some cinnamon, and some salt. When I finished the sauce tasted great but the sprouts were still too raw tasting. I ate the half of them that seemed done. I'll try roasting the rest tomorrow to finish their cooking. I'm guessing it might have been different if I'd used the frozen kind, they get softer a lot quicker.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

It tasted delicious on the Black Magic cake! However, it was too liquidy. I pretty much poured it all over the cake and after an hour a crust formed making it look more solid but underneath the crust it was still liquidy. I'm not sure if I messed something up, I did use 1/2 cup less sugar.

Classic Spanish Sangria

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies III

They taste great. I'm hopeful I can make them a little bit healthier next time by not rolling them in sugar, and using whole-wheat flour. I'll see how that tastes. Any other ideas?

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

I used parts of another version of the recipe and added the juice of a lemon with the zest, 1 tsp of cardamon, and about 1/2 cup of chopped chocolate chips. I think if I'd left out the cardamon and added a full cup or more of the chocolate chips it would be 4 stars. Otherwise it was okay.
