About this Cook
I recently discovered I love to cook. My mom went to culinary school and now teaches cooking classes. My husband sometimes joins me in the kitchen which is super fun!!!
My favorite things to cook
Anything Italian...pasta, lasagna, chicken. I also love to use my slow cooker.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Fondue! My family always did fondue on Christmas eve and Christmas morning my mom made the BEST homemade cinnamon rolls YUM!
My cooking triumphs
I have a Kitchen Aid mixer that we got for our wedding a few years ago and I haven't even opened the box!! I guess I like to bake from a box better :)

Donut Muffins
LOVED this recipe....tasted just like a donut hole! Next time I will cut the nutmeg in half, it was a little too overpwering for us!

Burrito Pie
This was excellent! I followed the reviews...need to use 2-3 tortillas per layer or else they will get too soggy. I read not to mix the bean mixture in with the meat and sauce. Here is what I did: I like the idea of spreading the beans on the tortillas. The new layering order will be: meat, cheese, beany tortillas (bean side down), meat, cheese, beany tortillas etc. Top with meat sauce and cheese.

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls
These went so fast at our housewarming party, everyone wanted to recipe. I baked them for a total of 45 minutes, turned over after the first 20 min. Also, I made the sauce using 1/4 cup of mayo, chili sauce and brown sugar. Very delicious!!
