Magic Cookie Bars II

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2011
I have been making these for years, and my mom made them when I was growing up. She called them Crazy Cookies. They are so versatile; I've used all kinds of chips...butterscotch, mint, peanut butter and Heath. Always a five-star hit for any occasion.

Creamy Jalapeno

I would recommend using half of the dressing packet as others have suggested. OK with vegetables, but tasted great on salmon.

Oriental Cold Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
Yummy salad with lots of zing! I used broken fettucini noodles, and added pea pods. I served it as a side dish to the Thai Fish Cakes found on this website. I will be making this again!

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I'd give it 5 stars, but my kids didn't like it (too much spinach). This was a SUPER EASY weeknight recipe. I served it with wild rice. For leftovers, I cut up the chicken & mixed it with the rice. The only thing I would add next time is garlic, as suggested earlier. A definite keeper!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2007
Really rich, yummy chicken dish. Next time I will use fresh spinach (I used frozen & it was way too over powering). I used pre-cooked bacon & cut it up - that was great! Not everyone in my family liked it, but I would make it again.

Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies

Absolutely excellent! I brought these to work and 4 people asked me for the recipe. I make these cookies all the time now & I wouldn't deviate one bit from the recipe. A keeper for sure!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2002
These are the best!!!! I have tried a million chocolate chip cookie recipes over the years, but my cookies always turned out like hockey pucks. I've made these twice, and both times they have turned out soft and moist. I will definitely pass this recipe along to friends and family!

Great, simple recipe! Excellent use of green beans. You could even add sliced mushrooms. I will definitely make this again!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew III

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2001
I thought this was a little bland, but a great meal for busy families. Just add everything to the crockpot the night before & let it cook. I think I would add some seasonings next time I prepare it.
