Rugelach III

I made half with apricot filling and half with Nutella and sprinkled chopped nuts - the apricot is messy, but very yummy :o) - for the first time making, I'd say it was a success!

My husband who is a Moroccan-Israeli and is a wonderful chef was surprised that I made this, he gave me kisses and cleaned the kitchen, and told me I should make it for Shabbat! Thanks for the recipe :)

Garlic Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
these were soooo good! 5 stars was not enough! The only thing is I had to crank up the heat and bake them longer than the original recipe time. I also put in about 3-4 tbl spoons of lemon juice because I didn't have a lemon. - will def. make them again!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
Yum! I think that there is way too much butter for this recipe. I am eating a cookie as I type and the butter overpowers the rest of the ingredients. it's a good dessert with Coffee!

Moroccan Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
I added 2 onions instead of one, and instead of 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, I did 1 and a 1/2 and oh boy - this was really worth 5 stars! So delicious.

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
I used Chocolate tea biscuits - I dipped each one in a cup of hot coffee and then lined them up as the recipe calls - I used about 5 packages of those tea biscuits - on the final row, I ended up not covering it with another layer of the crackers, instead I left the pudding uncovered, and crumbled the remaining crackers and sprinkled the crumbs on top, I also added some chopped walnuts and chocolate chip cookies, and then I made zig-zag lines with Chocolate syrup (the one that you use for Ice cream) - covered it and stuffed it in the fridge over night - in the morning we had it with coffee - so delicious!
