Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
Great base for the chili! Like some of the other users, I only added 1 cup of water, giving it a good hearty consistancy. I also used both a can of kidney beans plus a can of black beans. My other addition was adding paper thin slices of serano, jalapeno, and pepperchini peppers. I didn't add a lot of the peppers, but enough to give it a nice green flavor and add to the hotness some. I added them to the meat and onions at the start of this recipe. Everything else I kept the same and was really happy with it! I had 3 bowls and had to resist a 4th!!

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
I made the white sauce from this recipe this weekend, and it turned out great! I added chipotle sauce to it for added spice, and left out the jalapeno, capers, and oregano. I did it with grilled salmon and shrimp tacos and they were both perfect! Solid recipe and with non-fat yogurt and low fat mayo, it really isn't that bad for you either.

Aw-some Cole Slaw

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Very tasty slaw. The sugar gave it a nice sweet taste. I added some chipotle sauce, which gave it a little spice, too.

Tennessee Fry Bread

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
Great recipe for breakfast or dinner! I had it with chili and it was great. I usually change or adjust recipe's from this site and even went into it thinking of different things I could do with this one, but in the end, I kept it as is and was glad I did.

Tennessee Rubdown

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2010
This is a great recipe! I can see where some people might find it too spicy if they can't take much spice, but I thought it was perfect as is. I used it on spiral ham for breakfast, frying it on the stove top with some olive oil, and even though I don't do ham often, I will start having it more now!
