Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2013
This recipe was absolutely wonderful and very easy. Per suggestions I did make some very slight revisions: I boiled my chicken and vegetables in chicken broth and saved that broth for the liquid mixture, i added garlic salt and poultry seasoning to the both the chicken/veggie mixture and the sauce, and I reduced the flour to 1/4c. I also cooked the pie crust 7 minutes (with brushed egg white) before I added the pot pie stuffing. It was delicious and I will make it again!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2013
These cookies are absolutely delicious and so easy. I didn't have brandy so I used Captain Morgan instead and I took another reviewers advice and did not grease the pam, so the cookies did not spread at all. A great recipe I will keep on hand as a go to!

Elizabeth's Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2012
I followed the recipe exactly and the cake turned out wonderfully. My only addition was that I garnished it was chocolate shavings on the top and raspberries around the bottom (also helps hide flaws). It was extremely time consuming but well worth it and everyone commented how professional it looked. I made the buttercream frosting the night before and took it out of the fridge a few hours before the cake was done to let it get back to room temperature and re-whipped it in the mixer to soften it a bit. Like others suggested I made the ganache before the cake and put it in the fridge for a bit once it cooled. The cake itself was not very sweet so it was complemented very well but the rich, chocolatelyness of the ganache and buttercream frosting. I will definitely make this again for special occasions.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
These were absolutely delicious. I love mushrooms so I decided to add a cup of sautéed (and drained) mushrooms when I added the cream of mushroom soup. I also like a little more spice so I added about 2tsp of freshly chopped jalapenos. Beside those two minor additions I did not change anything else in this great recipe. A little time consuming (about 1 hour to prepare and cook) but definitely a wonderful recipe. Will make again!

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2011
This was a fantastic recipe. I made two changes: I did not include the balsamic vinegar and I added greek olives at the end. This recipe does involve a decent amount of preparation but it's well worth it. It had great flavor and it wasn't too heavy and rich like most pasta dishes. Next time I will add more vegetables

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
This was a wonderful recipe. The cookies came about the perfect density and texture. The only thing I change was that I used creamy peanut butter instead of chunky. I love peanut butter and might add a little bit more next time. Absolutely delicious and will definitely make again.

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Mallow Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
these rich brownie bars are addicting and very messy like others have mentioned. i followed the recipe pretty close but did change a few things. I decided i wanted a thicker brownie so i baked them in a smaller pan than suggested. i also noticed that if you cool the brownies 5 minutes instead of 3 the peanut butter is much easier to spread. i let the brownies cool completely before cutting but still found them too gooey to cut so i put them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and they were perfect! i will definitely make this again
