I suppose I've always had a fondness for food as all my best memories were the family together eating and enjoying the company. After a stomach surgery is really when I started cooking alot since I couldn't eat anymore but I was still around food. I have found that I get the same joy cooking for others that I used to get eating for myself! I love to cook! Mexican food and my momma's favorite recipes. Like beef stroganoff and her pot roast, but her potato salad is THE best. Me and the sisters at Thanksgiving or Christmas hustling around and making sure the meal is perfect! Homemade noodles that came out perfect and pineapple upside down cake just the way mom used to make! Biscuits elude me. I don't know what I do wrong, but I can't even get the Bisquik ones to come out right. They are always like a rock. I am persistent though and I will figure it out!
