Fruity Krispy Treats

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
All of my kids and myself thought these had an AWESOME flavor. The reason that I gave it only 5 stars is because even my kids thought they were far too sweet. Regular rice crispy treats are made without sweetened cereal so I think due to fruity pebbles being pre-sweetened, the end results are too sweet. Maybe to eating a tiny square would be perfect! Thanks, very flavorful!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I followed advise given by MWT on Oct. 3. I used sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ Sauce & added 1/2 C of diced onions - I made the recipe with 2 lbs. of boneless pork ribs in place of the chicken & didn't shred - ate as rib dinner. Everything else I kept exactly as shown. This recipe was AWESOME! If I could rate this as a 10...I would! My family & company scarfed it down like piggies. Everyone wanted this recipe. I must say, I was concerned with the taste of using the Italian Dressing, but SO very glad I did! I used Wish Bone Fat Free Italian Dressing. Delicious! Thank You for this family favorite!

Mini Pineapple Upside-Down Cakes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
These are delicious! I made them for a large function and they were gone in no time flat! I used regular muffin tins but I would suggest using the larger ones. also doubled the topping and used it all. I ended up cutting my pineapple slices into wedges (tidbits) and they fit together around the edge of the cupcake, perfectly. I also put the cherry in the center prior to baking as recommended. Yummy!

Strawberry Swirl Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
This cake is AWESOME! I made mine in a sheet cake pan-(as one suggested) so I could easily serve small squares at a large function. I also cut up small chunks of strawberries and folded them into the whipped frosting before I frosted the top. It was the very first dessert to be gobbled up! DELICIOUS! I also put dots of the red cake on the top and used a butter knife to swirl - turned out so pretty! I am looking forward to trying as a layer cake and also wit raspberries. Thank you for this yummy recipe!

Jimmbo's Garlic Knots

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
These are really tasty! My kids and I all loved them - I made them to accompany the Lasagna dish I got from this site. I used real butter and 2-T of jarred/refrigerator minced garlic and was surprised- I should have used a bit more. I also dipped them in the melted butter & garlic, sprinkled with all seasonings before baking - when golden brown, I took out and sprinkled with the cheese. VERY tasty! Thank You 4 this recipe!

Simply Traditional Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
This is the BEST lasagna ever! my family tore it up! Yum Yum Yum! I left out the olives because 2 of my kids won't eat them. I also used fresh onion as the post had corrected. (but used 1/2 C) I put in 1/2 C extra water and 2-23 oz. Prego Marinara Sauce - because another post thought it was dry. One more change - being a Wisconsin girl, I love my cheese so I used 2-15 oz.Frigo whole milk Ricotta cheese - PERFECT! The best lasagna Ever! I fed 5 hungry people and have enough for another meal. I made Garlic Knots (off this site) to accompany the dish. Can't get any better than this! Thank You 4 your recipe!

I followed the recipe to a T - except I doubled it and filled 24 cupcake tins hoping they would be easier to remove without falling apart - But I too had trouble removing them in one piece from the greased tins. The taste was AWESOME! Great Recipe! Thank You!

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
I thought these would be real flavorful, but I found them to be quite bland - I think I would (as another review stated) Season the meat with salt & pepper prior to the first flouring. Also, they had an overwhelming grease taste from the vegetable shortening - I believe thy would taste less greasy using canola oil. They were very nice and crunchy!
