Killer Bacon-Cheese Dogs

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
I made exactly as written except cooked them in the broiler oven - split the dogs lengthwise when almost done and put the cheese & bacon slice in the dog. I then put them under the broiler until cheese melted. Very good!

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
I made this cake exactly as posted - it was delicious! I did make it twice because the first time I made it with pumpkin pie filling by accident. Do not make this mistake as the center of the cake will not set. Thanks for this yummy recipe!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
This recipe is WONDERFUL! Very fast ans easy to put together and yet tastes SO very good. I followed the recipe to a Tee except sprinkling a few dried onion flakes. The whole family & company had seconds and thirds. They are still talking about how good it was. Thank You! UPDATE: I can't say how many times I have made this recipe now. My family is constantly requesting it for dinner. My kids have friends that ask if I'll make it when they come over because they all loved it SO much. It's a MUST TRY recipe! Thanks again!

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
I am not a fan of popcorn balls, but I can say this- my kids loved them and the balls are not all dried and hard, they are more chewy and do not crumble all over the place when bit into. Thanks for this recipe!

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
This was absolutely delicious! The taste was AWESOME! The only mistake I made was I think I needed to bake a tiny bit longer as the center seemed a little mushy although it was cooked. YUMMY!! I was first worried that syrup wouldn't turn blue and mix right - but it was PERFECT!! Thank YOU!!!!

Super-Simple, Super-Spicy Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
AWESOME! I did follow this recipe right down to a tee except I added frozen broccoli. It was fantastic! The only thing I will chance next time is I will add at least 1/2 less red pepper flakes and maybe have some at dinner table for family to add as desired. We all LOVE super hot foods but this was so hot that is you took a breath while eating, it would cause you to cough and eyes would water. I am honestly wondering if it was meant to read as 2 teas. not Tablespoons. As for the review that stated they added double the peeper flakes....I think that would almost be humanly, next to impossible to do without a milk wash after each bite. And I can tolerate some intense heat! Thank You for the great recipe!

I followed this recipe to a tee - it was very, very good! All of my adult family members loved it, but my 2 picky teenagers didn't like the vinegary taste of the pepperoncini. Thanks!

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Very, Very Good! Next time I will roll it a bit tighter as mine ended up with too large of a gap between layers - my fault entirely. AWESOME recipe...will make again!

My Oh-Yeah Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
I made this recipe exactly as posted, although I was a bit hesitant because ingredients sound a bit unusual. I was glad I did. It was GREAT! My family loved it! I made it, tasted it and then put it in the crock pot with ribs - YUMMY! If you use crock pot, be sure to watch it as it may get too dark (due to sugars) if cooked too high and too long. Thanks for the recipe!

Glazed Almond Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
Wonderful Tasting cake! Pretty also! Because of reading some reviews, I did change the amount of almond extract to 2.5 teas. and vanilla extract to 1.5 teas. GREAT taste! I gave it only 4 stars because I made the frosting exactly as written and it was SO runny. I thew it away and made my own with powdered sugar, milk, real butter and almond extract - I did double frosting amount. Bake it only 45 min. and came out golden brown and completely done. As for the cake sticking to the pan, I used room temp. (real) butter to grease and then instead of flour (which causes that white powdery look) I dust with white sugar - It makes it brown to a golden lightly crispy surface. Thank You!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
My family enjoyed this recipe but it wasn't much out of the ordinary. I think that one of the key ingreds. in this recipe is using real bacon, not bacon bits. The only change I made was not to use the black olives because my kids won;t eat them. Thank you -

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
Very quick and delicious! I only made a few changes - I thought I had sausage in the fridge bot no, no bacon either - so I cut up some ham and used that. I also left out the peppers as my kids won't eat them. I then greased the cups with real butter, baked and and....YUMMY! I served with blueberry coffee cake from this site and we were off to a GREAT day! Thank you for this welcomed change breakfast!
