Sweet Restaurant Quality Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
OMG! This is the ONLY kind of coleslaw that I care for. It has the same yummy flavor as one in a popular chicken food chain and now I can make it right here at home. I've made it 3 times now and once a double batch to take to my daughter & her family. Everyone loved it. The second time I made it, I used real mayo, Rice vinegar, a tad less sugar (because Rice viegar is a tiny bit sweeter) and celery seeds in place of the poppy seeds. That threw it over the top! Perfect for us!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
I made this exactly as as written and it was very good. The second time around I used corn starch in place of flour (same amount), used broccolli bits in place of mushrooms (amount to taste), cut sour cream down to 1/4 Cup, used beef broth in place of wine (more as needed). It was Delicious! Thank You!

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Absolutely WONDERFUL! I followed the recipe exactly as posted except doubling the awesome spices. Used a 4 lb. Chicken. For others who lowered their star ratings because the chicken was too done or not done enough - I would say that all ovens do not heat at the same temp and all chickens do not cook exactly the same. I ALWAYS use a meat thermometer to make sure it is done to the desired temp. I pulled mine out at 165 degrees, let it sit for the 10-15 min. As the meat continues to cook while sitting, it came out tender, tasty and VERY juicy! Delicious! Thank you Nancy!

Awesome Spicy Beef Kabobs OR Haitian Voodoo Sticks

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
OH My!! After reading all of the reviews I decided to try this recipe and find out myself if it was really that spectacular. Yes, Yes, YES! What an AWESOME flavor this recipe has! I followed the recipe as written except cutting the cayene in half as suggested by some - one of my kids has a hard time with hot foods. The rest of us love it HOT and we thought it was perfect with half. Thanks or the new addition to our family favs!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
This bread was AWESOME! I was quite nervous - I was making it to accompany my cassarole and salad for dinner. the whole loaf was gone when dinner ended - only four of us - 1-1/2 lbs. of yummy! Very easy and don't hesitate because the directions go against the breadmakers manual as I did. Served up warm with butter....oh my! Thanks so much for my new favorite white bread recipe.

Spicy Chicken Breasts

AWESOME chicken! I love very hot food and found that 1/2 of the cayene pepper was plenty. As a rub, not all seasoning made is actually used. Definately a keeper!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
Very Good Potato Salad as is. The secnd time around I had no bacon in the house so made it without - requires more salt when bacon is left out but still very yummy. I always make my potato salads 1-2 days prior to serving as the flavors meld and become more tasty! Thank!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
AWESOME! Very easy to put together and has an outstanding flavor! SO tender & juice! I followed the recipe to a T. I really think that the reviews that stated it was too salty, must be also be the ones who used beef or chicken broth instead of water as called for - broth has a very high sodium content. I thought it was perfect as written! Thank You!
