Pork Roast with Apples, Beer, and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2013
Easy Peasy. Accidentally left it in too long, but it was completely salvageable. Definitely will make again, this time keeping a closer eye on the time. I also added yams and dusted everything lightly with cinnamon for an extra accent.

Scotch Eggs from Bob Evans®

Reviewed: May 27, 2013
Works well, big crowd pleaser. Have gotten multiple requests to bring to potlucks and barbeques. Don't know about the other reviewer's comment about time consuming. I typically have hard-boiled eggs in the fridge for a quick snack. I serve cut in half with a nice fancy mustard.

Creamy Saffron Shrimp with Gnocchi and Caramelized Onion

Reviewed: May 12, 2012
I pair this with the sweet potato gnocchi recipes on here and I've made this a few times with some slight modifications with what is on hand. I used no-fat yogurt for the sour cream and since I had no saffron so I pumped up the paprika. Maybe my taste buds are weird compared to some of the other reviews but I found the increased pop from the spice very pleasant and the added smokiness a nice compliment to the sweet potato gnocchi.

Baked Trout Saratoga

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
This is the first time I have tried to cook trout on my own and in a kitchen. It turned out excellent. It is simple and elegant and totally impressed my date.
