No-Guilt Zesty Ranch Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
The only change I made was to omit the horseradish, because I don't usually have any. This is a great alternative to the store bought ranch mix and my family especially enjoyed the addition of the bacon bits.

Tart Cherry Crisp

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I cut the recipe in 1/2 and baked in individual ramekins for my husband and me. This was very easy to make and was just what we were looking for in a cherry crisp. It was definitely on the tart side, so you may want to up the sugar if you don't care for tart.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Heaven

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
These are good peanut butter cookies, but not the best from this site. I am not sure the purpose of the cornstarch in the recipe and probably won't make these again, just because we have had better.

Oven Barbecued Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
The sauce is great and the chicken baked up juicy and tender. This is a great alternative to using the outdoor grill to have BBQ chicken. This recipe was simple and easy to make with ingredients that are usually on hand.

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
So good. Light and fluffy on the inside with a great crunch on the outside. These are the perfect waffle and would be great with any topping; although, we chose simple maple syrup.

Caramel Corn Snack Mix

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
This snack is highly addictive. Sweet, salty, crunchy, all in one. I omitted the nuts per my kids' request, and we all loved this mix!

Graham Griddle Cakes

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
Even though the graham flavor is not very strong, these pancakes have great flavor and texture. My kids couldn't have been happier when we turned these into s'more pancakes with chocolate chips and marshmallows in the middle. What a fun breakfast for them. I did not include the pecans in the pancakes, as 2 of my kids do not like nuts.

Frank's Famous Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
This was a great spaghetti sauce. Even my husband was a huge doubter when he found me browning turkey instead of beef, but even he liked this sauce. I did leave out the mushrooms since the kids and I are not fans, but putting them in would have made my husband even happier. This will be made again and again and again.

Lemon Pudding Poke Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
Most of the family really liked this cake, but I didn't care for the lemon pudding. It tasted artificial to me, and I much prefer a homemade lemon curd. Overall, this was a quick and easy dessert and nothing went to waste.

Rocky Road Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
This ice cream was rich and creamy and so much better than anything you will find in the store. It came together easily and froze nicely in my ice cream freezer, followed by my stand freezer. It was gone in 2 days!

Blueberry Muffins II

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
These muffins were great, and bursting with blueberries in every bite. I like that they don't contain a lot of oil and butter, like other recipes. They baked up nicely and the whole family really liked these!

Aunt Betty's Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
The only change I made was to use 1/2 oil and 1/2 applesauce. Although the muffins didn't rise very much, they had great flavor.

Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
This made for a quick and easy dinner. My kids put this into tortillas and rolled them up, and my husband and I used tortilla chips to scoop it up and eat it. This was a great family meal and was also great as leftovers.

S'mores Bars

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
One of our favorites. The hardest thing about this recipe is not consuming the entire pan. The only very minor change I made was to broil the marshmallows for about 2 minutes before taking them out of the oven. This gave the top the true s'mores look with the slightly browned marshmallow. After cooling for a very long time, these weren't difficult to cut or remove from the pan, and they were a huge hit with the family!

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
My kids loved this macaroni and cheese. This is like a "kicked up" version of macaroni and cheese with hot dogs. I used turkey kielbasa to cut back on some of the fat, and it turned out fabulous. No complaints from the family, and that's what I like.

Cherry Swirled Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
The only modification that I made was to make a graham crust instead of a chocolate one. We loved this cheesecake. It is beautiful and delicious! This would be a perfect cheesecake for Christmas, Valentine's Day, or 4th of July. We just had this as our weekend dessert, and it was gone in 2 days.

Mini Meringues

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
Followed the recipe and these turned out just as to be expected. One of my daughters is a huge meringue fan and she nearly ate the whole batch herself.

Polish Meat and Potatoes

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
I used one red pepper and one green pepper for additional flavor and color. I also used turkey kielbasa in this recipe. The whole family enjoyed it and it was super quick and easy to make.
