Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Reviewed: May 19, 2013
First time I ever had a portobella burger, my husband ordered for me. He thought it was a burger with mushrooms. I had no idea it was a mushroom. Now I enjoy when ever I can and with this recipe, I can have when ever I want. I used my cast iron pan (medium high) and cook as if outside on grill. My Girlfriend used her frying pan and same results... awesomely delicious! Did do one thing different, no oregano, but used fresh cut rosemary (littly goes long way. I use shredded cheese mixtures and place inside cap when I place on roll. it melt naturally from heat off mushroom.... SOOOO GOOD!!

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2013
Easy to make and I doubled. Amazing it's the same recipe used for basic chocolate chip cookies when doubles and the brown sugar is missing, however the white sugar makes up for the brown. It's the vanilla that makes the cookie. Place dough in bowl, covered with plastic wrap in fridge (hour) and then use wax paper (parchment) and formed a roll. then refrigerate an hour, cut roll in half and put one half in freezer in zip lock and sliced cookie size wanted from other half and baked. With summer coming up, would rather the toaster over used for 4 cookies then the stove (no A/C here).

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2012
First watch the video, and fallow directions of smashing and not slicing (that was a typo for sure). Fallowed to the tee, just used 1 over ripe banana with 2 other bananas. After I tasted when done mixing all ingrediants, I knew a loaf wouldn't do it, so I just made 12 muffins and still had enough left over for a small persoanal loaf. As for bake time started with 35 minutes, but then when I could smell the banana nut bread then would test for doneness YUM!!!!

Leftover Chicken Croquettes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Easy simple and anyone can add their own twist or any meat, fish or poultry. I have made this a few times, however, last time, was unexpected guest. I defrosted a package ground turkey meat and cooked it like ground hamburger in pan with just a bit of olive oil (2Tablespoons) and what a suprise. Easy with about anything. Have even tried with can salmon... GREAT!!!

Melt-in-Your-Mouth Broiled Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
fallowed to no fault, however to get rid of that wine taste, should reduce the wine mixture, so all the alcohol is burned off. When it reduces to almost half of what was in the pan. Great!! my husband kinda turned his nose up at it first. He took his time eating the side salad and asparagus, then he had to eat the Salmon, then he finished off what salmon was left on my plate and asked for this any time of the week. He is more the meat and potato type man. This was so easy and great tasting.... YUMMY!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
Wow! took the advise from basically all. Did flour, galic salt, and shear before placing in crock pot. Added carrot last last 3 hours of slow cooking time. The left overs where amazing when I added frozen mixed veggies and, cinnamon (that made a taste change) about a 2 teaspoon and made it into a sheppards pie with fresh mashed potatos and baked in oven for 30 mins. That cinnamon gave this a left over a new taste. Could even use frozen pie crust and make into a pot pie left over
