Peanut Butter Balls V

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
Yummy! Made these for the superbowl and EVERYONE love them! I omitted the graham crackers and pecans. I rolled the balls twice in powdered sugar so the balls would be easier to mold since I took out the graham crakers and pecans. I also did not use the shortening in the melted chocolate and it made it even better in my opinion because it made the top layer of chocolate even thicker! I made mine a little bigger due to time retraints but they were perfect. Excellent recipe!

Italian Chicken Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Great recipe to start with and later make it your own. I add the shredded swiss cheese on top, a spoon full of minced garlic from the jar, and when I'm pressed for time, the chopped up grilled chicken that comes already prepared for salads. Fresh chicken that you cook youself if always better but if you need something quick this works too. I have also added a thin layer of lettuce and some black olives to spruce it up when I take the dish to get-togethers, but just plain is how I like it the best!

Ranch Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
Love this snack! Have been looking for this recipe for years! My childhood neighbor's mom use to make this for us at sleepovers, however we called it "bolts and screws" because she would add pretzel sticks as well and the oyster crackers favor the tops of bolts...anyway, thanks so much for sharing!

Cheddar Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Great recipe. Like other reviews I have read, I also add cream of chicken, cream of mushroom and cream cheese. Instead of pimentos I use a can of rotel. If I am making it for other people, sometimes I add a small can of mushrooms too (I personally do not care for mushrooms). Good choice! This is very popular down here in the south.

Upside-Down Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
My husband loves this recipe but I thought it was so-so. Next time, I am going to make a few adjustments. My dish came out a little runny so I will probably add more meat next time. I do not like sausage so I omitted the sausage and I think that's why it was runny. So more beef. I also chopped up an onion and added it and it was much more flavorful. Good quick recipe.

Sloppy Joe Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
I like this quick and simple recipe. I added more meat because the dough overtook the meat the first time. Other than that, it's a great quickie recipe!
