Slow-Roasted Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2014
OMGOODNESS GRACIUS!!!! ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR! Best roast beef I have every tasted, and so easy to make. We will be having this often, and especially when I get a meat slicer to slice into paper thin sheets to pile high on sandwiches. Mouthwatering goodness, I can go on raving forever about this, just go make it yourself, you won't be sorry.

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2014
First time I followed the recipe, was very good, made some tweaks and now its awsome. Doubled the seasoning rub, left out the butter that was to be fried with the oil, but put it in to finish the raspberry sauce. Both times I did not have Raspberry jam, so I subbed with rasperry spread, and the second time I was out of orange juice so I used lemon in its place, still absolutely fabulous! This recipe is so forgiving, you've got to try this! Restaurant quality!

Orange Citrus Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
Unfortunately I didn't have any fresh cilantro, orange juice or dijon mustard, I ended up adding more honey and a clear fruit punch and squeezed a few fresh oranges, other than that it was very good, and had rave reviews from the in-laws. Next time I will try it with the missing ingredients.

Brown Sugar and Mustard Ham Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
Not bad for when you need to whip up a fast glaze. I used Dijon mustard, because I thought regular mustard would be too tart and kill all the sweetness from the brown sugar, I was right not to use it. Not something to write home about but it does the job when your in a bind. Could use some tweaking.

Grandma's Hash Browns

Loved these! Just like at the restaurants, the kids devoured theirs and wanted more. Will definately be making these instead of buying the frozen ones. Thanks for the fantastic recipe Denyse!

Roasted Parmesan Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Delicious! Only thing I did was add the lemon juice before baking, because I like my asparagus green. Other than that, this one's a keeper!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2012
Makes too much sauce and probably could have used more Dijon mustard for me. I even added an extra tablespoon of minced garlic, because I LOVE garlic and the taste was still too light for me but then I'm really big on flavor. It just tastes like buttery shrimp and someone skimped on the seasonings. The kids loved it though.

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
This was pretty good, only baked it for 15 minutes but it turned out just fine, but definately didn't taste like any pizza I've had. My two year old loved this, which was awsome. This would go well as a prelude to a chicken or seafood dinner.

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
I grew up on this recipe and absolutely LOVE it. I make it often for my own family now, but sometimes I change the regular flavored french fried onions to one of the more savory flavored french fried onions, like garlic or pepper seasoned.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
I make this without a machine and I double the filling. Phil's co-workers at Woodbridge RAVED about these rolls! They would request them for breakfast several times, sometimes two times a week (If his boss had it his way he'd have me make them everyday)! I would make two pans just for them (and never see leftovers) and a half pan extra just so the kids and I would be able to eat some too lol. Many have asked me for the recipe! Absolutely the best cinnamon roll I have EVER had. I will NEVER buy them from the store again! Thanks for sharing this!!!

Fried Onion Rings

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
Fabulous! I did add some cajun seasoning to the mix, but otherwise used the recipe as written. My husband LOVES a good onion ring, and these were accepted with raving reviews! Will be making again, absolutely delicious.

Definately not our favorite beef roast, but it is simple and quick to prepare. Will do some tweaking on this recipe.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
This was really salty tasting and some-what bland. The cheese sauce would be nice for homemade au gratin potatoes I think. My daughter would only eat the crispy cheese that was on top, my son picked at it, but I'm not sure he really ate any of it. My husband ate his portion but would not get seconds. He ALWAYS gets seconds! My husband and two children absolutely refuse to eat this again and there were TONS of leftovers. I've eaten several servings worth for the past four days and again for lunch today... And there's STILL one more serving left!

Cornell Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
I'm giving this only 4 stars because, although it was very good on the chicken, the little flavor from the scant amount of seasonings really didn't wow us. The vinegar shined in the chicken, but that was mostly it. Definately not something I would particularly write home about. Next time, I will play around with more seasonings. This is a great base for chicken, though and I think with a little love this recipe can be great.

Grilled Garlic and Herb Shrimp

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Added more garlic and onion powder but otherwise finger-lickin' good! Loved it!! My 4yr old and soon to be 1 year old tried to steal mine off my plate after they snarffed theirs, and my husband thought they were very good and must repeat! This is coming from someone who doesn't care much for shrimp!! I'll definately have to make an extra bag of shrimp next time and soon to double because the kids are growing fast! IF YOU LOVE SHRIMP YOU MUST TRY THIS!!

Broccoli Potato Bake

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
Great comfort food! Family absolutely devoured this! I did have to halve the recipe though, and still had enough to feed one more person. I did do a few things differently, instead of hashbrowns i used diced russets, about 1/3 more cheese than was called for, tbsp. dashida, tsp. each garlic and onion powder, course black pepper, tsp. gourmet burger seasoning, 2 green onions, and cooked the broccoli and potatoes in the same pot as the sauce.
