Chili Rellenos Casserole

I roasted my own poblano peppers so that may have made a difference. although I was scepticle I have to say this was awesome! Try it you won't be disappointed! I used canned red enchilada sauce in place of the tomato sauce which worked fabulously. Will definitely make again.

Smoked Sausage with Potatoes, Sauerkraut & Ale

Was a great alternative to your basic pan fried smoked sausage and a side dish. My husband devoured it! I appreciated the one dish meal and the combination of flavors. Give it a try, I think it's a keeper!

Grill Master Chicken Wings

Excellent recipe! Made these for an appetizer at a bbq... Marinated the wings for 36 plus hours... Yum! After grilling I decided to do a 60/40 split of saucing... 60% sauced with the "Buffalo" and 40% unsauced... They were both a big hit! Who knew that some people don't like buffalo wings as much as we do? The flavors of both versions are outstanding! Have made this a least 4 times now, always leaving at least a few unsauced. Fantastic change from the standard buffalo wings, an unexpected pleasure!!! Thanks for the post!!!

Ice Cream Sandwich Desserts

I'm not a dessert person But I make an exception for this! I have made this about 5 times and have had to give the "recipe" to about 25 people. No One believes that it is ice cream sandwiches! I have used eahughes review (Aug 8, 07) input and perferred it using carmel sauce in the middle, hot fudge sauce on the top, then the Cooll Whip topped with lovely crushed Heath toffee bars. YUMMY! For our 4th of July party I put the toffee in the middle to keep the top all white, then topped with halved strawberry's and blueberry's to create an American flag. What a Hit! Thanks for a creation that I will be making forever!

Seafood Piccata

Made this using Christine A's (July 15, 2007) review. (THX!) Didn't have crabmeat but had plenty of shrimp and bay scallops. Turned out excellent! Used fresh herbs and jarred minced garlic, vidalia onion in place of green. Used half wine - half chicken broth. And all the lemon juice, slightly thickened with Wondra and served over angel hair pasta (highly recommend!) My husband and I LOVED it! Thanks much!

Baked French Fries II

Made a few times now and always follow the recipe as written, but have cooked a bit longer due to larger cuts. Excellent! Guests also raved! Flavor, crispness right on the money! Who knew? Thanks for the post!

Sensational Steak Sandwich

Great to make with LeftOver steak! I followed the recipe ingredients exactly. The only thing I did different was to use steak that had been grilled and leftover from a prior meal and then I DidNot precook the veggies... They cooked beautifully in the crockpot (I cooked 6 hours on low) Since you're using the crockpot, any cut of beef will do, as long as you slice it thinly, as instructed - It will be tender, Guaranteed! Excellent flavor! My husband and I both LOVED it!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Made just as written but used jarred mushrooms. Fantastic flavor! Husband really enjoyed, said I could make it for him anytime! I think the balsamic reduction & mushrooms would be great with pork, beef, you name it! Thanks for the post!

Scallops Au Gratin

This was the highlight of my dinner party! Rave reviews from All! Only things I did different was that I used 1/3 each bay scallops, 21/25 shrimp and king crab meat. Also used shredded Kraft Italian 5 cheese (Asigao, Parm, Mozz, Romona, Provo). I doubled the recipe and froze a large cassserole for another meal. Can't wait!
