Slow Cooker Pheasant with Mushrooms and Olives

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Oh my goodness! These were incredible. They came out much bigger than I remember my grandmothers being, but they were delicious. I wilted the cabbage by wrapping it in a damp paper towel and putting it in the micro for about 3 minutes. Also, I added Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture. I also made my own tomato sauce because I like a little bit of a thicker sauce with them. I will be making these again!

Wild Rice Harvest Casserole

I enjoyed this recipe. My husband thought it tasted too soupy, so next time I might try to cut down on the amount of liquid. I omitted the nut portion to save on calories.

Slow Cooker Tuscan Beef Stew

We are not huge stew eaters, so I figured this would be a toss up. There was something about it that we didn't care for. For me, I think it was the wine I used because I still felt like I tasted it even after it cooked for 9 hours. My husband thought I used too much of one particular spice, though we weren't sure which one. Good recipe, perhaps....just not for us.

Eggplant Croquettes

We didn't care for these at all, and we love eggplant. I found they were a lot of work for not much pay off. I thought they were greasy...maybe if I had baked them, they wouldn't have soaked up all the olive oil in the pan. I won't make these again. I'll stick with a more traditional eggplant rollatini.

Bread and Celery Stuffing

This was outstanding! I took other cooks' advice and made a few changes, but I loved the sauce so much that I made just the sauce again and used it over pasta with vegetables and chicken. Awesome!

I loved this soup. Next time, I will cook the lentils separately and then add to the soup to make sure they are done enough. Mine were a bit undercooked.

Pumpkin Spiced and Iced Cookies

Outstanding. I took the advice of the other reviewers and used half white and half brown sugar, rolled them in sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon and used half the amount of chocolate chips. Outstanding! My only advice is when storing, let them sit out for a long time (even overnight). Otherwise, if you store them in an air tight container, they get soggy because of the pumpkin.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

This was outstanding! To get the chicken really browned, I rubbed the butter all over the chicken, which helped it to get crispy on the outside. It was excellent!
