Angel Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
I really wanted this to turn out better than it did. It was not a hit. However, an expert chef could probably do wonders with this. I'm not sure the angel hair pasta is what should be used. I'm thinking more of a thicker pasta. My husband is very finicky and honest. He ate it but did not care for it. My daughter came back and ate leftovers and said it tasted better then than when it was made fresh. My 16 yr old son liked it OK but got bored with the leftovers. I personally liked it to the point I would have eaten much more but trying to maintain my weight. Obviously, if something is good to me, it's not on my diet! My dog loves it!!!

Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
Where is the 10th star? No really, I would rate it a 10 if it where available. Absolutely delicious is how I describe this. I cheated and purchased Roasted Red Peppers instead. Next time I 'may' be brave enough to try roasting the red peppers myself. My 16 yr old son only mentioned he would have liked it to be a little more spicier but he thought it looked more like butter chicken; so guess he was expecting it to taste like it :) Everyone loved it. I knew before serving it how good it was. I had a little set aside....a good cook samples, right? I poured this over Buitoni's Chicken & Prosciutto Tortelloni, along with a small side salad with my special garlic/butter toasted bread and YUM is all I can say. Very excited to report about this sauce; I'm even up before 7AM just to rate it!

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
I'll try this again, only to see if I can do something different. My husband SAID he liked it but then said the peppers seemed to have a burned taste to them. I served it with Basmati rice, which is what he likes.

Chicken Tagine

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
Sorry but my family barely did anything with it. Personally, I thought it was OK but was very disappointed. I hope others will try it and possibly do a custom version. As you know, if my family won't eat it, I won't be making it again.

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
My family didn't eat much of this; it's probably better right from the stove. I will try this again to get it where my family will eat it. I made it and left to go out of town to leave for my two boys and husband. I came back with a lot of the chicken left. Perhaps I used too much chicken?

Wilted Spinach with Cherries and Goat Cheese

I was disappointed but I did not try any of the custom versions. I'm sure whoever likes this that tried it did some tweaking. Good luck.

Chili Dog Casserole II

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
My husband and oldest son (17) ate it and said it was OK. I know them..if it were really good they would have said so. What is so puzzling is that my youngest son (9) ate three helpings! And he can be the pickiest of eaters. Perhaps he just liked the hot dog weiners in it. I took the suggestion of others to avoid the refrigerated taste of the hot dog weiner and grilled them first. Although that helped I probably won't be making this again unless I have some heavy eaters over for dinner.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
it certainly has potential. Since I am an avid cook of and lover of Indian food (hubby is Indian) then it may be unfair for me to pass judgment here. However, if you want quick and easy, I say do this recipe. My guess is everyone should continue their attempts until tweaked to their own perfection/taste. I served with (what else) Basmai rice. Thanks Keon!
