Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Good directions to begin making chicken and dumplings. I read the other reviews and used one can cream of chicken and one can cream of celery, added some flavor boost, and covered with chicken broth instead of water. The chicken flavor was quite strong so I think using water instead of broth would have been fine. Only made 3 chicken breasts instead of 4 but there was enough sauce for 4. Threw in some random spices (cumin, garlic, cayenne, montreal seasoning, red pepper flakes) and cooked on high for 4 hours, then added the biscuit dough and cooked another 1.5 hours.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup
Only used 3 chicken breasts, used half chicken broth and half water instead of 2 qts water, did not use whole tomatoes, did not add chili powder, and did not add beans. Kept everything else the same and was voted the best soup at our office soup/chowder/stew cook-off (people usually go for the chowder so this was an accomplishment). cooked and shredded the chicken first then cooked everything else together in a slow cooker over night on medium and kept on low the next morning until lunch time.

Insanely Amazing Jalapeno Cheese Dip
I made this recipe for a gathering and most people seemed to like it. I made it as directed except I used 1/2 c sour cream and 1/2 c mayo since mayo kind of grosses me out to begin with. I thought it was really good with the sour cream. And I think I used some kind of Romano blend instead of parmesan, from the local Italian grocery store.
