About this Cook
Im a student, and the one thing Im most passionate about is cooking!! I wish i had discovered this earlier and gone to cooking or pastry school but I have plans for doing so in the future.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking Italian, Indian, and trying new things but most of all i love baking!! this might be because of my sweet tooth but i love cakes, cookies, all types of desserts, and i love baking for other people.
My cooking triumphs
ANything ive made from scratch that Ive never made before, Im proud of myself for it! I came a long way from not knowing anything about cooking to where I am now.
My cooking tragedies
The occasional burn, or flavorless food but nothing major.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans
I thoiught these were great, love the Asian flair...would pair wonderfully w an Asian meal. I accidentally had some snow peas in my string beans and I thought the snow peas worked even better for this recipe. My family was mixed on this though bc they prefer "Country Green Beans" also on this site.

Strawberry Trifle
This is truly the perfect light dessert after a heavy meal. This is what I used, french vanilla pudding, real whipped cream, strawberries blueberries and bananas and ladyfingers sprinkled w milk(bc I wanted them to taste like cake, not cookies). Perfect, and make a lot! prob 15 servings or so...reminds me of strawberry shortcake. Tis recipe is very versatile as you can use almost any fruits/pudding/cake. For the person who had a soupy mess, make sure you dry ur fruit after washing. I put mine in a strainer to get all the liquids out. Enjoy!

Tiramisu II
I wa sso nervous abt this one, bc the ignredients are expensive and also the issue of cooking the eggs. My first batch of eggs, I cooked too much and threw it out. I knew bc it was lumpy and looked scrambled...The second one I followed the directions to a T, and I got a smooth custard. I learned you have to dip the ladyfingers in the coffee ( I didnt use rum bc I didnt have), if you dont dip the ladyfingers and just drizzle it, it doesnt get soaked as much it just stays dry. Besides that, the taste was amazing and only gets better and better...3 days later Im still eating it!!
