Paper-Wrapped Apple Pie II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
I never ever made a pie before trying this recipe. Now I'm the designated pie girl always having to bake my butt off because they LOVE this pie. I can't thank you enough for posting this. It's the easiest recipe and friend and family devour it every time.

Bob's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
I just made this and substituted low fat plain greek yogurt since my boyfriend absolutely detests mayo. it was a hit with both of us on top of a huge vegetarian salad.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
i was in the mood for chocolate and decided to give this recipe a try. i followed the advise of other reviewers and used 1c white sugar and 1/2c brown sugar and 1/2c shortening 1/2c butter. the cookies are amazing. just what i was looking for. i think they turned out a little too sweet with milk chocolate chips. thinking they might be amazing with mint chips too. great recipe.

Fabulous Zucchini Grinders

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
this is a new staple in my house. i'm vegetarian and my boyfriend isn't but we both love this one equally. i usually make it on wheat sandwich rolls and toast them in the oven/toaster oven before filling them to prevent bread soggyness. sometimes i'll add vegetarian italian sausage or tvp crumbles. great recipe!

Quinoa and Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
This recipe replaced my staple vegetarian chili recipe. I make chili at least once a month and this is our new household favorite for the vegetarians and meat eaters! The quinoa is like caviar it's divine! I love to toast my quinoa for a nuttier flavor.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
this recipe is great except for the missing little bit of salt. always add salt when making sweets it brings out the awesomeness. i made the recipe half size and turned out wonderful cookies in my convection oven. used parchment paper to bake no problems at all. great soft yummy cookies the next day.
