Dark Chocolate Cake I
I followed all of the hints from the other reviews with the butter Crisco and the coffee, etc. Maybe it would have come out better by following the recipe exactly but I doubt that much better. I made this for my sister in law's baby shower and was horrified when the cake fell apart before I could even assemble it. PLEASE do not make this cake for a special occasion, test it out first which is normally what I do. I would try to make this cake again by following the exact recipe, but I just don't want to because the substitutions were not that big to make a difference. This was way to dry, crumbly, not sweet enough. To all of the other users who made this cake a success, I congratulate you on a job well done. I will be sticking to my old recipes in the future! I have to rate this with one star, but I am really giving it ZERO STARS. I'm sorry my experience was just to terrible. I would love any feedback.

Blonde Brownies I
First I must say that I have never given a recipe review but this was so good I decided to do one. I did double the recipe as other's suggested but for me it only fits an 8x8 pan even when doubled. I listened to others about the sweetness of a double batch so I left the vanilla at 1TBS and the brown sugar at 1 1/2 C. Also I added a full cup of butter and of course mixed in the chocolate chips. Needless to say this was absolutely FAB! My sisters practically fought over how big their pieces were and who should have the last slice, of course I took it! LOL! Great recipe and thank you to everyone for your tips and tricks to make this the best!
