Peppy's Pita Bread

All the rave reviews are true, this works! Like many others I went for half whole wheat, I also added sesame seeds. Advice like letting the dough rise on your baking sheet of choice was spot on. I did not have a bread maker or mixer, just a wooden spoon and a bowl. Go for it!! Mine did not puff but still had pocket, I took them out a tad early I think, was scared they'd get overdone. Toasted perfectly in the morning, like out of the oven! This is mine forever!
